The Bittersweet

The Bittersweet is an immersive VR art installation, to provide in an artistic approach a view for neurotypical individuals into the perception of the people within the autistic spectrum. This project was created using Unity and the original Oculus and the leap motion for interaction.

Exploring three modular scenes viewers can have a glimpse into figurative representations of  issues within social interaction, social imagination and social communication, problems that people within the range of the autistic spectrum are challenged with every day with.

To create this I went trough a creative process that involved storyboarding and cyclical testing with users.
